Perhaps rashly, I just opened Windows Update >> Get Updates and clicked Install.

It took for ever. Well over 2 hours including the update download time. So long that when I needed to leave for a meeting, it was still only 71% through phase 3 so I had to walk out the door with it updating. It finished 3 stops along the MRT line.

Quick summary: so far so good. I'll report any problems as I find them.
